A panorama of the Vistula valley and the holiday village Męćmierz from the lime stone hill Albrechtówka. Mięćmierz was an old raft men’s settlement. There are many old wooden houses that were moved here by their new owners (mostly artists) from places where they would have been destroyed. The windmill overlooking the village is also a holiday house; it was transferred here from Bałtów. The easiest way to Męćmierz is the path on the dike along the Vistula up the stream. On your left you see a quarry; continue going further on until you see houses – it is Męćmierz. From the market square it takes some 45 minutes.
